Here Are The 5 Best Official Baby Yoda ‘Mandalorian’ Toys You Can Buy Right Now

The dust seems to have settled on The Mandalorian season 1, and now Disney is doing what Disney does, spooling up its merchandising machine for not just the show, but for Baby Yoda in particular, the most marketable character in Star Wars history, which is saying something.

Disney agreed to hold off on merchandise in order to keep Baby Yoda’s reveal in the Mandalorian pilot a secret, as per Jon Favreau’s request, but the cat was out of the bag a few hours later and “The Child” became an official internet meme. But now, Disney has come out with a line of licensed Baby Yoda toys right now.

They are toys you can buy, but almost all of them have May ship dates at this point, due to the delay in production caused by the secrecy of the show. But you can secure your own toys ahead of time to make sure you get them on day one. I have compiled what I think are the five best Baby Yoda toys, and really, the only five groups of toys. This list and these links are from Target, but you can order them from your retailer of choice, be that Amazon or Walmart or whatever. If these images look weird, it’s because they’re computer renderings of what the toys will be, because they’re not built yet.

Here are the five, in no particular order.

1. Tiny Baby Yoda â€" This one is only just over an inch tall, so he would make a good, non-descript desk buddy. Probably do not buy him for a child, especially with his tiny toy accessories.

2. Taller, Poseable Baby Yoda â€" This one is more of an action figure, as he’s half a foot tall (still shorter than “real” Baby Yoda), and can do the magic hand thing when you raise his right arm.

3. Plush Talking and Non-Talking Baby Yoda â€" This is probably going to be one of the most popular toys because who doesn’t want to cuddle with Baby Yoda? There are two versions of this, one that talks and comes with accessories, and one that doesn’t. The talking one is currently sold out of pre-orders. I’m not sure what he says as Baby Yoda only gurgles. At 11 inches, this is the most “life size” one.

4. Posed Baby Yoda Figures â€" There are a whole series of these, six in all. We have Soup Baby Yoda, Blanket Baby Yoda, Frog Baby Yoda, Reaching Baby Yoda, Ball Baby Yoda and Sad Baby Yoda. They come in packs of two. I think they’re a few inches tall/wide, so not super tiny.

5. Funko Pop! Baby Yoda â€" I mean, you really think Funko wasn’t going to make their own Baby Yoda? The thing is like a real life Funko Pop already.
