The teams at Hot Toys and Sideshow Collectibles do some excellent work, creating and selling miniature replicas of your favorite pop culture heroes. But they've gone above and beyond with their latest set, which features a version of The Mandalorian's Baby Yoda that isn't actually super creepy.

The Mandalorian and The Child set is available for pre-order now, and will set you back $259 plus shipping. Delivery begins to roll out in April 2021 and extends through July of that same year. What you get out of the box will be a 12-inch action figure with a special metallic paint job, 30 points of articulations, interchangeable components ... and a 1-inch tall version of The Child. He comes with a realistic sackcloth outfit and a tiny pendant shaped like the iconic Mythosaur.

What sells this version of Baby Yoda, in my opinion, is the scale relative to the bounty hunter. Those tiny little hands, the oversized ears, and the precocious overbite simply aren't as effective when the little critter is standing alone.

Sideshow and Hot Toys also teamed up for a life-size version of The Child, which costs $350 and begins shipping in August 2020.
