Sorry, Star Wars Fans: Baby Yoda Won't Be Counted in the Census
The Mandalorian's Baby Yoda may be cute, but he's not cute enough to be counted in the U.S. Census. That's according to former Congresswoman and current Census advocate Stacey Abrams, who was asked about The Child's status on Twitter this week.
"Thank you for your question," replied Abrams, after being asked whether the little green guy would be included in the upcoming tally. "The Census is a count of the human species located in the United States," Abrams added. "We can count on Baby Yoda to be cute, but we cannot count him in the U.S. Census."
